چکیده
Longitudinal strain (LS) measurements by Speckle Tracking Echocardiography (STE) is a point of care imaging modality that had been documented to have role in NSTEMI/STEMI and stable Coronary artery disease (CAD). This study aims determine the accuracy LS parameters diagnosis predicting severity CAD unstable angina patients with no regional wall motion abnormalities. It was prospective analytical which 143 low-risk Unstable underwent STE. Based on angiogram results, participants were divided into obstructive control group. Patients (n ¼ 79) significantly higher GLS Trans GLS12 (¡18.2 ± 3.5% Vs ¡20.4 3.2%, p 0.001 ¡16.0 ¡18.1 3.0, respectively) compared normal/non-obstructive coronaries 45). Both trans independent predictors multivariate logistic regression. However, diagnostic (AUC 0.683) 0.687) only modest. But positive predictive value grossly altered >-16.1% high (92.1%). Regional longitudinal (RLS) noted be group one (RLSLAD: ¡18.8 4.8 ¡21.2 4.5, 0.007; RLSLCX: ¡18.6 3.5, 0.001; RLSRCA: 3.6 ¡20.2 3.4, 0.031). Diagnostic UA subgroup >16.1% probability having particular multivessel hence these can subjected CAG without further ischemic testing.

Quantitative assessment of left ventricular volume and ejection fraction using two-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography.
AIMS Two-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography (2DSTE) allows measurements of left ventricular (LV) volumes and LV ejection fraction (LVEF) without manual tracings. Our goal was to determine the accuracy of 2DSTE against real-time 3D echocardiography (RT3DE) and against cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging. METHODS AND RESULTS In Protocol 1, 2DSTE data in the apical four-chamber v...
متن کاملTwo-Dimensional Speckle Tracking Echocardiography Predict Left Ventricular Remodeling after Acute Myocardial Infarction in Patients with Preserved Ejection Fraction
OBJECTIVES Left ventricular remodeling after acute myocardial infarction increases cardiovascular events and mortality. But few study was done in patients with preserved ejection fraction (EF > 40%). We investigate whether the strain and strain rate by 2D speckle tracking echocardiography could predict left ventricular remodeling after acute myocardial infarction in this cohort. METHODS The 8...
متن کاملLeft ventricular strain and strain rate by two-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography in patients with subclinical hypothyroidism.
AIM Subclinical hypothyroidism (SH) is an asymptomatic condition defined by increased serum thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) with normal free thyroid hormone levels. Heart is a major target organ for thyroid hormone action. The aim of this study was to evaluate cardiac functions in patients with SH by speckle tracking imaging. PATIENTS AND METHODS We included 23 consecutive patients with unt...
متن کاملMyocardial systolic and diastolic performance derived by 2-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography in heart failure with normal left ventricular ejection fraction.
BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to investigate the myocardial systolic and diastolic performance of the left ventricle (LV) in patients with heart failure with normal LV ejection fraction (HFNEF) through novel LV myocardial indices, which assess the systolic and diastolic function of the whole myocardium of the LV. METHODS AND RESULTS LV myocardial systolic and diastolic performance were...
متن کاملsystolic longitudinal function of the left ventricle assessed by speckle tracking in heart failure patients with preserved ejection fraction
background: echocardiographic evaluations of the longitudinal axis of the left ventricular (lv) function have been used in the diagnosis and assessment of heart failure with normal ejection fraction (hfnef). the evaluation of the global and segmental peak systolic longitudinal strains (pslss) by two-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography (ste) may correlate with conventional echocardiogr...
